  18. Does the Diamond Stealth S3 Vision 964 chip (2 meg, PCI) conflict with an 
  19. internal modem at Com 4, Irq 3? The card was purchased in 8/94.

  21. Some people have said that I am crazy, but I remember reading that they 
  22. conflict because something in the Stealth card with the S3 Vision 964 
  23. chip uses Com 4, or Irq 3.

  27. I had to remove my modem and install it in my other system so that I 
  28. could use the modem.

  30. I'm considering getting another video card for my system with the modem 
  31. and I don't want to buy a card that won't work with my modem.

  33. I know that it *should not* conflict but others have had this same 
  34. problem and I was advised in an InterLink Hardware conference when I 
  35. first installed the modem that the S3 chip was a problem with Com4 and/or 
  36. Irq 3.

  38. I know it sounds crazy, but I remember being told about the conflict.
